Regulatory Notice: Important Updates for MA & ND

At Crystal River Herbs, we prioritize transparency and safety for our community. We are writing to inform you of critical regulatory changes impacting our customers in Massachusetts and North Dakota. Recent government actions have temporarily restricted the sale of kratom in these regions. Below, you will find the specific details regarding these mandates and how they may affect your future orders.
Massachusetts Schedule I Classification
Effective August 28, 2026, Governor Maura Healey and the Department of Public Health have temporarily classified all forms of kratom as a Schedule I controlled substance. This emergency classification is expected to remain in place for up to one year.
North Dakota Statewide Ban
As of August 5, 2026, North Dakota has implemented a statewide ban on all kratom and related derivative products. This follows an executive order by Governor Kelly Armstrong and Attorney General Drew Wrigley declaring a public health emergency.

Effective: Aug 28, 2026
Customers in MA should note that orders will be paused starting on this date to ensure full compliance with the new one-year classification period.

Effective: Aug 5, 2026
Kratom and all derivatives are currently prohibited in ND. We are unable to process shipments to North Dakota addresses at this time.
Our Commitment to Quality and Compliance
Crystal River Herbs remains steadfast in our commitment to safety. We do not sell 7OH products; all our kratom is natural, rigorously lab-tested, and sourced exclusively from high-quality manufacturers.
